Planning future Friends efforts
The Friends of Shelton Dog Park meets the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Shelton Recreation Center. If you would like to join us as we plan future Friends efforts, please feel free to join us. The next Friends meeting will take place on May 17th, 2012. There is an exciting year of projects and plans, so please join us as we for our volunteer efforts during 2012. - Work Party
Help maintain and beautify the park
Work Parties are where volunteers come together to spread mulch, clean up, plant flowers and more! The work parties take place on the third Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Let us know if you can spare some time to help us maintain and improve the park! - Learn to Speak Dog Workshops
Lean to interpret your dog's body language
The Friends will be hosting monthly Learn to Speak Dog Workshops during 2012. Hosted by Peg Demaine, certified dog trainer and owner of The Polite Pooch, this workshop provides invaluable information about communicating with your dog. The workshops will take place on the third Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. (same time and date as the Work Parties). Bring your dog and join us!
